Installation service starting from 329 euros - Every boat is unique. For some boats, for example, installing a bow motor is easy. Even simple cases often require a full working day. In more challenging cases, a mounting bracket needs to be made for the boat, which must be designed on a case-by-case basis. At Ruoto, we always strive for comprehensive customer service. In recent years, we have noticed that, for example, installing a bow electric motor is the biggest challenge for many of our customers when acquiring the device. And no wonder, as installing a bow motor requires time, patience, good facilities, and the right tools. The installer must also have a basic understanding of electrical work. For some fishermen, this task is a breeze to handle on their own, but not everyone has the opportunity to install it themselves.

Ruoto's bow electric motor installation service has been developed precisely for this need. We delved into the matter and found a top bow motor installer in Finland as our partner. Since we sell several hundred bow motors annually at Ruoto, we also demand a high level of installation work. Nowadays, we already have several installers working with us, and, for example, one of our installers' facilities is located in excellent warm premises in Lohja. Now also installers in Riihimäki and Turku.

Please note that our installers will provide you with an installation offer that is calculated specifically for your boat and the products to be installed. Our installers charge only for the actual work.
Our installer installs bow motors, displays, downriggers, or even shore power systems, tailored to fit your boat perfectly. 

Bow motor installation service - Price includes:

•  Installation and electrical work 
•  Installation materials 
•  Necessary electrical cables

If a custom mounting bracket is made for the boat, it costs 120 euros (straight aluminum mounting plate) or 160 euros (side-mounted aluminum mounting plate). The mounting bracket is made from marine aluminum cut with a water jet, resulting in a high-quality, neat finish. Each mounting plate is also hand-polished and checked to ensure that the mounting plate is finished and fits your boat perfectly.  
The purpose of the mounting bracket is to facilitate the installation of the bow motor on the boat, but also to keep the bow of the boat open for easy access. When the bow motor is installed on the side of the boat, it is not in the way in the interior of the boat when in the rest position.

Ruoto's bow electric motor installation service has a quality guarantee. Our installers use the best components on the market in their work, and there is no room for compromise. Our installer checks the work before handing over the finished package to the customer. The installation work is also documented in photo form, so in the event of a possible malfunction, the customer can also be assisted over the phone to troubleshoot the issue.

We have priced the service so that the customer delivers their boat to the installer on a trailer. The finished package can generally be picked up from the installer within a week of delivery. You can also book a clear installation day for your boat's bow motor through our customer service. If necessary, we can deliver the bow motor and other products directly to the installation point from Ruoto. If you are unable to take the boat to the installer yourself, you can deliver it to Ruoto Mega Store (Pakkasraitti 2, 04360 Tuusula). In this case, we charge an additional fee of 99 euros for transporting the boat to the installer in Lohja. Please note that the boat must be on a functioning trailer that is legally inspected.
