Sako Optilock -ring with a 30mm diameter and extra low height. This ring is therefore suitable for rifle scopes with a tube diameter of 30 millimeters. Optilock rings are manufactured in four different heights: Extra Low, Low, Medium, and High. With the height of the ring, you can adjust the height of the rifle scope, for example, in relation to your stock to suit you perfectly. The lowest rings do not work with rifle scopes equipped with a large front lens, such as 56mm stalking tubes. Also, thick-barreled guns usually require a slightly higher ring.
Sako Optilock -rings require an Optilock base, also known as the Optilock Base. These are available in five different types depending on the weapon. These types are: Tikka 17mm, Picatinny/Weaver, Sako Short, Sako Long, and Sako Extended. Finnish company Osuma also manufactures compatible bases for Optilock rings.
