Sako Optilock ring with 1'' diameter and extra low height. This ring is suitable for rifle scopes with a tube diameter of 1 inch (25.4mm). Optilock rings are manufactured in four different heights: Extra Low, Low, Medium, and High. The height of the ring allows you to adjust the height of the rifle scope, for example, in relation to your stock to suit you perfectly. The lowest rings do not work with rifle scopes equipped with a large front lens, such as 56mm stalking scopes. Also, thick-barreled guns usually require a slightly higher ring.
In addition to the Sako Optilock rings, you also need the Optilock base, also known as the Optilock Base. These are available in five different types depending on the weapon. These types are: Tikka 17mm, Picatinny/Weaver, Sako Short, Sako Long, and Sako Extended. The Finnish company Osuma also manufactures compatible bases for Optilock rings.
