Pulsar Merger Duo NXP50 binoculars combine a thermal camera and digital light amplification. You can choose which channel to view or watch thermal imaging and light amplification simultaneously. The design of the Pulsar Merger Duo NX50 thermal binoculars is familiar from traditional daytime binoculars. They do not take up much space, fit well in the hand, and in addition to their usability, they also look good. The device's six control buttons are placed on the top, where they are easy to use and the most commonly used digital functions are at your fingertips with a single press.

The optics of the Merger Duo thermal binoculars take into account human nature. Human brains are conditioned to receive visual information from two channels at the same time. Therefore, viewing with two eyes tires them less than peering with one eye. Thus, the Merger is also easier to distinguish small and dim objects, especially in low contrast conditions than monocular devices of similar technical design. The interpupillary distance of the Merger Duo DXP50 oculars is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm, for the best fit for each user.

The high resolution of the thermal imaging sensor ensures that all objects in the field of view are displayed as detailed as possible. The high resolution allows even the smallest objects, such as branches, leaves, and animal body parts, to appear exceptionally sharp and clear against the background.
• Large and fast-aperture, germanium-coated F50/1.0 lens
  The quality of the optics is crucial to the performance of thermal binoculars to maintain good image quality even at the lowest thermal radiation levels.
  This extreme efficiency is achieved with the Merger Duo's fast lens (F50/1.0) and super-sensitive thermal sensor. Pulsar Merger offers its users the best quality, i.e., a precise, high-contrast, and informative image every time - even in rain and fog when the environmental thermal contrast is at its lowest.

  Pulsar Merger Duo DXP50 thermal binoculars have adopted a new approach: specific settings have been made for different uses and viewing targets, so both the targets and their backgrounds stand out best. The oculars of the Merger Duo ensure perfect reproduction of details, which is important, for example, in counting antlers. The thermal image remains clear regardless of varying weather and temperature conditions.

  Merger Duo DXP50 is powered by two rechargeable batteries: it has one internal, 4 Ah rechargeable battery and also comes with a replaceable 3.2 Ah battery. A single charge guarantees up to 7.5 hours of battery life. The design of the replaceable battery makes it easy to insert, so changing an empty battery to a charged one is done in record time and by feel alone in pitch darkness. 
• Long observation distance
  A powerful, long-distinguishing objective lens combined with a highly sensitive 640 x 480 pixel (@17 µm pixel pitch) thermal sensor produces exceptional observation capability. A typical 1.8-meter target is distinguishable from a distance of 1800 meters in pitch darkness.
• 3x – 24x adjustable digital zoom
  Up to 8x digital zoom facilitates focusing and target recognition at longer distances.  Zoom level changes either in 2x increments or continuously, so the user's field of view is fully customizable to the situation at hand.
