Pulsar Merger Duo NXP50 binoculars combine a thermal camera and digital light amplification. You can choose which channel to view or watch thermal imaging and light amplification simultaneously. The design of the Pulsar Merger Duo NX50 thermal binoculars is familiar from traditional daytime binoculars. They do not take up much space, fit well in the hand, and in addition to their usability, they also look good. The device's six control buttons are placed on the top, where they are easy to use and the most commonly used digital functions are at your fingertips with a single press.
The optics of the Merger Duo thermal binoculars take into account human nature. Human brains are conditioned to receive visual information from two channels at the same time. Therefore, viewing with two eyes tires them less than peering with one eye. Thus, the Merger is also easier to distinguish small and dim objects, especially in low contrast conditions than monocular devices of similar technical design. The interpupillary distance of the Merger Duo DXP50 oculars is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm, for the best fit for each user.
Features of Pulsar Merger Duo NXP50:
- Highly sensitive 640 x 480 pixel thermal imaging sensor, NETD value below 25 mK
Whether it's rain, blizzard, fog, or early cold morning, the Merger's highly sensitive 640x480 pixel thermal imaging sensor (NETD <25 mK) detects even the slightest temperature differences also in conditions with low thermal contrast. The high resolution of the thermal imaging sensor ensures that all objects in the field of view are displayed as detailed as possible. The high resolution allows even the smallest objects, such as branches, leaves, and animal body parts, to appear exceptionally sharp and clear against the background. - Large and fast-aperture, germanium-coated F50/1.0 lens
The quality of the optics is crucial to the performance of thermal binoculars to maintain good image quality even at the lowest thermal radiation levels.
This extreme efficiency is achieved with the Merger Duo's fast lens (F50/1.0) and super-sensitive thermal sensor. Pulsar Merger offers its users the best quality, i.e., a precise, high-contrast, and informative image every time - even in rain and fog when the environmental thermal contrast is at its lowest. - More powerful image enhancement algorithms
Pulsar Merger Duo DXP50 thermal binoculars have adopted a new approach: specific settings have been made for different uses and viewing targets, so both the targets and their backgrounds stand out best. The oculars of the Merger Duo ensure perfect reproduction of details, which is important, for example, in counting antlers. The thermal image remains clear regardless of varying weather and temperature conditions. - Two independently operating batteries. Up to 7.5 hours of operating time on a single charge
Merger Duo DXP50 is powered by two rechargeable batteries: it has one internal, 4 Ah rechargeable battery and also comes with a replaceable 3.2 Ah battery. A single charge guarantees up to 7.5 hours of battery life. The design of the replaceable battery makes it easy to insert, so changing an empty battery to a charged one is done in record time and by feel alone in pitch darkness. - Long observation distance
A powerful, long-distinguishing objective lens combined with a highly sensitive 640 x 480 pixel (@17 µm pixel pitch) thermal sensor produces exceptional observation capability. A typical 1.8-meter target is distinguishable from a distance of 1800 meters in pitch darkness. - 3x – 24x adjustable digital zoom
Up to 8x digital zoom facilitates focusing and target recognition at longer distances. Zoom level changes either in 2x increments or continuously, so the user's field of view is fully customizable to the situation at hand. - Stream Vision 2 integrates with iOS and Android devices
Merger Duo's internal Wi-Fi module operates wirelessly with Android and iOS smartphones and tablets using the free Stream Vision 2 application. This opens up a whole range of new possibilities, such as streaming video online, wireless firmware updates, sharing content on social media, remote control, and free access to Pulsar's own news feed. In addition, registered users of the application receive 16 GB of free cloud storage where they can store material recorded on their device. - IPX7 waterproof rating
Whether it's heavy rain, a blizzard, or other moisture, the IPX7 waterproof rating ensures that the device does not fail in the wettest conditions! The device is designed to function flawlessly even when submerged to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. - High-quality, impact-resistant magnesium alloy body
Pulsar Merger Duo DXP50 is made for continuous and often rough use. It has a sturdy and durable magnesium alloy body that is still light. The body effectively protects the device's internal components, especially its most important part – the thermal imaging sensor – from shocks, falls, moisture, heat, and cold. The metal body also acts as a cooling element that removes waste heat generated inside the device (especially in the thermal imaging sensor), reduces noise, and keeps the thermal imaging sensor stable even during longer use. - Enhanced Wi-fi connectivity, supporting both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands
By connecting your Merger Duo device to your Android or iOS mobile device using Pulsar's Stream Vision 2 mobile application, this opens up a whole range of new possibilities, such as streaming video online, wireless firmware updates, sharing content on social media, remote control, and free access to Pulsar's own news feed. The faster 5 GHz frequency band enables smoother and more stable data transmission and reduces the wireless connection's susceptibility to interference, enhancing your thermal camera's productivity and making its use as a companion to a smart device even more pleasant. - Wide operating temperature range (-25 ...+50 °C)
The body, power supply, optics, and electronics of the Pulsar Merger Duo are designed to operate even in extreme temperatures. The Merger Duo DXP50 functions reliably and efficiently even at temperatures as low as -25°C. - Internal video and photo recorder
Merger Duo has an internal video and photo recorder. The internal memory of the Merger Duo can hold hours of exciting video and thousands of the best of your thermal images. Just press a button to capture an interesting moment or start recording video. The recorded material can also be transferred to a computer via a USB C cable. Owners of Merger Duo DXP50 thermal binoculars also receive 16 GB of free cloud storage by registering with Pulsar's own cloud service (Pulsar Cloud). Just install the free Stream Vision 2 mobile app, log into the service, and connect the device to your smartphone via Wi-fi. - Full-color, frost-resistant HD AMOLED display
The high-definition HD AMOLED display of the Pulsar Merger Duo DXP50 produces a sharp, high-contrast, and colorful viewing experience, and AMOLED technology ensures flawless, smooth high-definition imaging and power saving. - Eight color palettes
A selection of eight different color palettes enhances visibility in various conditions, allowing you to choose the most suitable option for each situation and viewing condition. Hot white, hot black, and hot red facilitate target movement detection, while rainbow and ultramarine highlight temperature differences between targets and facilitate identification. Red monochrome, sepia, and violet reduce eye strain and are best suited for long-term nighttime observation.
