OAC Skinbased EA 2.0 Binding Bindings
Please enter your email address and we will send you a notification when the product is in stock again. After this your email will be removed from our list.
OAC Skinbased EA 2.0 universal binding is compatible with a wide variety of flexible-bottom shoes of almost all sizes and works in all weather conditions. The binding is built entirely in the EU, and we have chosen the best materials to ensure that it can be used in the most challenging environments. The thick base plate with a pivot mechanism offers a good skiing feel and provides lateral stability.
The back piece of the binding has an adjustment lever with a pop-up mechanism. This mechanism protects the binding from breaking in case it is used with shoes that have too stiff a sole. Adjusting the binding is easy and can be done even while wearing gloves. The EA 2.0 universal binding is foldable and easily reattachable.
Note: NOT suitable for stiff-soled hiking and mountaineering shoes or climbing shoes.
OAC Skinbased EA 2.0 features:
- Adult size
- NN 75 standard screw spacing
- Shoe sole length: 24cm - 38cm
- NSN: 8465-58-001-9458
- Adjusting the binding is easy and can be done even while wearing gloves
To ensure the functionality of the EA universal bindings, it is essential to maintain them regularly and always before a longer skiing trip. Maintenance of the EA universal binding is straightforward:
1) Lift the orange lever and detach the heel piece by pulling it toward the back of the binding. Clean any sand and dirt from the heel piece with a cleaning cloth.
2) Lubricate the spring with silicone spray and rub it with a cleaning cloth.
3) Clean the binding base plate similarly to the heel piece and spring.
4) Finally, slide the heel piece back in place and lock it by pressing the orange lever down.
5) Check that the screws of the ankle and toe strap buckles are tight enough and tighten them if necessary.
