OAC Skinbased Calming Skin Wax

OAC Skinbased skin wax is designed for the maintenance of climbing skins. The wax is made from plant-based ingredients and beeswax. Apply the wax to the climbing skin to improve glide and prevent snow from clumping.

• Skinbased skis are factory-waxed, making them ready to use straight from the package. However, over time, the glide may decrease, and at this point, it can be improved with liquid care products and cold waxes. Liquid care products should be applied indoors to dry skis and allowed to absorb quietly before the next use.
• Cold wax can also be applied to the ski base outdoors if necessary.
• Note: Hot waxes and heating irons should never be used under any circumstances, as they can permanently damage the Unicoat base.
• For maintaining climbing skins, it is recommended to use only care products and waxes specifically designed for skins. The liquid care product should be applied to the dry climbing skin similarly to the products intended for the ski base. Cold wax can also be applied to the climbing skin outdoors, even during skiing trips.
