Leica Fortis 2-12x50i L-4a Glossy Edition is a riflescope that combines a traditional glossy appearance with modern optics. This riflescope features a 50 mm objective lens and 2-12x magnification, offering a wide field of view from 20.4 meters to 3.5 meters at a distance of 100 meters. The eye relief is over 90 mm, and the exit pupil ranges from 12.2 mm to 4.1 mm.
The riflescope is parallax-free up to 100 meters and has a diopter adjustment range of –4/+3 dpt. The lenses are coated with AquaDura® coating, enhancing light transmission to 92%. The reticle is located in the second focal plane and is available with the L-4a reticle, which has an adjustment range of 230x230 cm at 100 meters. One click corresponds to a 1 cm change at 100 meters.
The reticle is illuminated with a dot size of 1.5 cm at 100 meters at 10x magnification, and there are nine illumination levels. The main tube diameter is 30 mm, and mounting options include 30 mm rings or a Zeiss internal rail. The objective lens filter thread is M52x0.75 mm.
