Härkila Heat Long Johns are part of the Heat product family, whose products are heated with an external power source. The Härkila Heat long johns are made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex, making them quick-drying, flexible, and durable. There are sewn-in membranes in the lower back and knees that are heated by an external power source. The membranes can be set to either 35, 43, or 50 degrees by pressing a button located at the waist. Despite the heating membranes, the pants can be safely machine washed. 

There is a waterproof pocket with a USB plug at the waist, to which an external power source can be connected (sold separately). A 10,000 mAh power bank is sufficient for the highest temperature of 50 degrees for about 7 hours when it is 0 degrees outside. To save energy, the membranes heat only when needed (when the temperature drops 1-2 degrees below the set limit).

The pants come with a dry bag.
