Happy Dog Fit & Vital Junior is a perfectly balanced, gluten-free diet for medium and large breed dogs. The proven recipe provides a variety of 5 different high-quality proteins and valuable New Zealand mussels, along with rice. The unique heart-shaped ring kibble is easily digestible due to its large surface area. From 7 months onwards, the energy and protein levels in the diet should be reduced to prevent too rapid growth. Happy Dog Fit & Vital Junior dry food has the right energy and protein levels for young dogs.
Happy Dog Natural Life Concept® provides your dog with everything it needs for comprehensive well-being. From 18 months onwards, you should gradually transition to Happy Dog Adult food, such as "Medium Adult" or "Maxi Adult" dry food.
When your puppy reaches seven months of age, it's time to switch from puppy food to junior dog food. At this stage, puppies enter a developmental phase where they grow more slowly than in the first six months of their lives. Therefore, we developed Fit & Vital Junior specifically for young dogs. It contains less energy than puppy food and provides the nutrients and minerals that a young dog needs for healthy growth from the seventh month onwards. Fit & Vital Junior includes five animal protein sources: poultry, lamb, fish (50% of which is salmon), egg, and mussel. Gluten-free rice ensures easy digestion. Calcium and vitamin D3 support the healthy development of your dog's bones, ligaments, tendons, and joints. Herbs support digestion.
From the age of seven months, puppies transition to the junior stage. At this point, we recommend switching to a diet tailored to their developmental stage. Wondering how much food is recommended for young dogs? The right amount of food is based on the young dog's final weight and its age in months. You can find this in the feeding recommendation below. Good to know: Unlike the puppy stage, when your puppy needed multiple meals a day, you can now switch to feeding junior dogs twice a day. Your junior's growth is now at a stage where this feeding schedule is sufficient.
Our kibbles are heart-shaped with a hole in the middle. This allows your dog to chew and digest the food more effectively.
