Veniard Mallard Bronze Shoulder, or in English, mallard shoulder feathers, are by far the most used material in feather-winged salmon flies. Mallard is used on top of the wide wings of salmon flies as well as alone in trout flies and Spey-style salmon flies. Available in two different sizes and in both dark and light colors. This product is Bronze in color, meaning darker, and size Large.

Mallard is, among other things, the wing material for the Spey fly Lady Caroline.
