Scientific Anglers UST SD is a new powerful shooting head made with the Seamless Density method. These UST SD shooting heads change their sinking rate evenly throughout the entire line. Traditionally, sinking lines are made with either two or three different sinking rates, creating a distinct seam between them. In these new lines, the sinking rate changes "seamlessly." This gives you better sensitivity to your fly.

The design of Scientific Anglers UST SD lines has been handled by Nordic salmon fishermen. These are truly made to work in our home waters. The aggressive taper can turn over even larger salmon tubes or long leaders. The "HI-VIZ tracer," or in Finnish, the brightly colored back end of the shooting head, makes it easier to see in low light. You can easily see where your line is swimming and when it's the right time to stop stripping. The Textured coating of the UST SD lines resembles the surface of a golf ball on a small scale. This coating makes it easier to lift the line.
