Scientific Anglers Sonar Stillwater Clear Emerger Tip is a sinking-tip fly line specifically designed for stillwater fishing. This line combines a floating running line with a short, clear intermediate tip, providing anglers with excellent line control and sufficient stealth.
The line is designed to cast multiple flies and long leaders to fish that are just below the water's surface. Its construction is based on the popular MPX taper and is overweighted by one line class, making it easier to cast long leaders and multiple flies.

Cleaning the line with soap and water using a cloth removes most dirt, but cleaning pads work even better. When properly cleaned, your line will cast better and last longer, which is definitely a good trade-off for a few minutes of line maintenance.
