Scientific Anglers Magnitude Smooth Grand Slam Horizon/Clear floating tropical fly line is designed to provide excellent performance in saltwater fly fishing. This line combines innovative technologies and durable construction, making it an excellent choice for demanding anglers.
The line's DuraCoat technology utilizes an advanced dual-polymer construction that optimizes the line's stiffness, abrasion resistance, and slickness. The core of the line is coated with a flexible material that reduces memory and improves grip, while the outer layer significantly enhances slickness and abrasion resistance. Additionally, the line is equipped with EST+ lubricant, which improves durability, facilitates casting, and is environmentally friendly.
Scientific Anglers Magnitude Smooth Grand Slam Horizon/Clear - Features:
- DuraCoat technology improves the line's stiffness, abrasion resistance, and slickness
- EST+ lubricant enhances durability and facilitates casting
- Inherently floating polymers enable next-generation clear floating lines
- 10-inch (25.4 cm) clear floating tip or fully clear floating line
- Quick rod loading and easy casting in the wind
- Short and powerful head facilitates quick casts to moving targets
Cleaning the line with soap and water removes most dirt, but cleaning pads work even better. Clean lines cast better and last longer, which is a good return for a few minutes of maintenance. When using a cleaning pad, squeeze the pad around the line so that the abrasive side contacts the line, and pull the line through the pad under tension. Repeat the process until the line's color shows on the pad. Clean the lines every 2-3 fishing trips or whenever dirt hinders their performance.
