Scientific Anglers Frequency Intermediate is a slow-sinking fly line designed specifically for situations where the fly line needs to travel below the water surface but not too deep. This line is an excellent choice for stillwater fishing or casting streamers in rivers.
The Frequency Intermediate fly line is made with a thin diameter that cuts through the wind effectively. The length of the line's belly is optimized to improve line control during casting. The line's sink rate is 1.25 inches per second (Intermediate), and its core is made of braided monofilament, making it durable and reliable.

Cleaning the line with soap and water removes most dirt, but cleaning pads work even better. When properly cleaned, the line casts better and lasts longer. When using a cleaning pad, squeeze the pad around the line so that the abrasive side touches the line, and pull the line through the pad under tension. Repeat the process until the line's color shows on the pad. Clean the line every 2-3 fishing trips or whenever dirt hinders its performance.
