Patagonia Brimmer Hat Forged Grey is a brimmed hat that offers effective sun protection for summer activities. The hat is made from 100% recycled polyester, treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish without intentionally added PFAS compounds. The fabric provides 40+ UPF sun protection, and the wide brim helps keep the sun at bay.
The hat has a medium crown fit and an 8 cm wide brim. It is available in two different sizes. The brim is floatable, meaning it will stay afloat if it ends up in water. An adjustable chin strap keeps the hat in place even in windy conditions.
Inside, there is a lightweight and low-profile sweatband that manages moisture and temperature. The hat is made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, which means the product's makers have received a premium for their work. The hat is made in Vietnam and weighs 68 grams.
