Hareline Coq De Leon

Hareline Coq de Leon hackle feathers are special, differing from other rooster hackle feathers. The barbs of the feathers from roosters in the Leon region are translucent, long, and have a beautiful speckled pattern. From these, you can make beautiful tails and good hackles for dry flies, as well as stylish tails especially for Perdigon-style nymphs. Coq de Leon birds grow in the mountains of Spain, where the mountain climate and soil minerals make the roosters of the Leon region so special. The birds are also raised using traditional methods, where they live quite freely outdoors, becoming hardy, with only the strongest surviving the winters. Due to the aforementioned reasons, genuine CLD products are very scarce.
