George Gehrke's Gink is a legendary floatant for dry flies and is probably the most used product in its category worldwide. Gink is silicone-free and lighter than water in specific gravity, so it truly works for its intended purpose. Thanks to its composition, Gink does not crush your hackles or leave residue on your flies that would attract dirt. Gink liquefies when it warms on the skin, for example, on the fingertip when spreading, and thus absorbs deeply into your fly. While fishing, Gink cools and forms a sort of film on your fly, preventing it from getting wet.
